When a former student is now a substitute teacher and gets jealous that “we didn’t have these cool instruments when I was here”, you invite him to class to jam with 4th grade. He was successfully playing 3 chords in about 5 minutes.

Mrs. Newberry’s 1st grade class played ukuleles for the first time with a game called Purple Stew.
Mrs. Cook’s and Mrs. Terry's 2nd Grade classes are playing ukuleles to accompany a singing game-Doggie, Doggie.

Mrs. Hopkins’s 5th grade class is performing Chicken On a Fencepost on Ukulele.
Mrs. Shelton’s 1st/Kindergarten class is practicing reading a clock and performing Wee Willie Winkie on the Xylophones.
Mrs. Moore’s 3rd grade class is performing Yellow Submarine on ukuleles.
I have posted practice tracks on the Choir page. There are 2 songs listed that we will perform for our music festival at Bullitt Central in March. Remind your child to practice, especially if they ride a late bus and miss part of rehearsal.
