This is a live video from the Choir and Orff Spring Concert.
For the past few years, I have started a tradition with the outgoing 5th graders. They create a collaborative art project which will be displayed in the school as a way to improve the aesthetics of the building and mark the end of their time as a Viking. This year, instead of painting, we are trying a new medium with melted crayon wax. This is just a teaser video to show you the technique. The full art will be unveiled at the 5th Grade Send-Off Ceremony in June.
Mrs. Cook’s 2nd graders are working on their folding skills. Today we made origami frogs!!! The video tutorial can be found on the Art for Kids Hub YouTube Channel. Click this link.
We just finished some music centers so I could work with some small groups on ukulele and recorder. Many classes liked exploring music sequencing with Incredibox. If they would like to explore more, here is the link. The website is free!
